Resource Partnerships and Grants Intern

The Resource Partnerships and Grants Intern will support City Light’s funding goals aimed at promoting a sustainable and affordable clean energy future, while gaining experience in collaborative work across departments and managing grant applications.

Responsibilities
Identify potential partnership and funding opportunities that align with City Light’s Strategic Plan
Co-lead pre-award grant project (initial conceptualization, stakeholder engagement, vetting, leadership approvals, grant writing, budget development, and application submission)
Plan, facilitate, and convene a citywide Grants Community of Practice workshop
Assist in special projects such as resilience and critical services reports or community engagement plans that are intended to meet foundational needs and support future funding acquisition
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an accredited certificate, 2-year or 4-year undergraduate educational program during their internship
Undergraduate students will need to maintain a 2.0 GPA or above throughout the internship
Effective writing
