Data and Reporting Specialist

Master•Care, Inc. is a Managed Services Organization (MSO) created to bridge medical and non-medical services under California’s new CalAIM program. The Data and Reporting Specialist is responsible for reporting quality data, generating reports, and resolving data issues while supporting management in creating business goals and refining processes.

Responsibilities

Gathering and analyzing data
Interpreting gathered data
Creating and submitting reports to the relevant departments, management, and customers
Finding patterns and trends in the analyzed data
Data Quality Control – correction, reporting, and escalation to ensure high-quality reporting
Helping the management and other teams create business goals and refine processes
Establishing new data gathering and analysis processes within the organization
In coordination with leadership, formulating procedural manuals for all reporting
Special Projects: In coordination with Leadership Team, assist with special projects

Required

At least four years' experience as an Analyst in an established organization and/or 5+ years' experience in data mining
Strong analytical skills
Familiarity with Managed Care, Claims, Healthcare Insurance a plus
Proficiency in Excel and other similar software with the skill and/or experience to translate complex mathematical/database information into understandable reports
Strong oral and written communication skills
Report writing and presentation skills
Ability to anticipate, including an awareness that goes beyond the task-at-hand
Attention to detail and quality control
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Proficient with web-based technology
Proficient with the Microsoft office suite
Punctual, organized, and efficient
Maintains a professional demeanor
Demonstrated skills in planning, scheduling, coordinating and evaluating projects
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to embrace organizational goals and work in a team-oriented environment
Ability to adhere to professional boundaries and confidentiality requirements
Strong organizational skills and time management skills
The ability to perform the physical demands of this position, including: Sit and/or stand for long periods, Navigate stairs, bend, and reach, Lift, push, or pull a minimum of 10 lbs
Some Travel for Company Meetings may be required
