Responsibilities

Unisys COBOL mainframe programming to enhance the system, correct defects, or maintain/enhance regulatory changes

Using your deposit knowledge to analyze the code to determine where the change should be

Complete quality unit testing – recording before/after and providing documentation

Effectively communicate with the team’s product owner, QA resources, and other developers. Supporting customer care as well as implementations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate transactional workflows into enterprise applications

Required

Bachelor of Computer Science

Unisys COBOL programming experience

Strong analytical skills

Ability to work independently, self-starter (has initiative), takes ownership of work

Experience with real-time transaction processing (not just batch-based)

Ability to design and manage low-latency, high-availability systems

Expertise in secure, immediate transaction handling for financial applications

Strong knowledge of concurrency control and rollback mechanisms

Familiarity with authorization and compliance requirements in mission-critical environments
