Responsibilities
Prepare and file corporate tax returns in compliance with current regulations
Manage sales tax reporting and ensure timely submissions
Record and review journal entries to maintain accurate financial records
Reconcile general ledger accounts and address any discrepancies
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making
Ensure adherence to tax laws and accounting standards
Provide support during audits and address inquiries related to financial documentation
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and compliance
Solid knowledge of sales tax regulations and reporting requirements
Proficiency in recording and reviewing journal entries
Familiarity with general ledger reconciliation and financial statement preparation
Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data accurately
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
