Risk Management Claims Representative - Corporate

Responsibilities

Daily intake and review of claims by gathering and investigating information, statements, and other supporting evidence
Review evidence and provide an evaluation of liability, damages, and recommended reserves to management. Negotiate and resolve claims
Uphold MGM Risk Management guest experiences standards by communicating with the guests in an expeditious manner. Guide the guest through the claims process and stay engaged with the guest through resolution of the matter
Investigate and assess valet claims, auto-liability claims, personal property damage / loss claims, and low severity bodily injury claims. Review and analysis of witness statements, photos, videos, estimates, medical records (if applicable), and other supporting materials in order to set reserves and obtain settlement authority from management
Maintain appropriate and sufficient reserves in recognition of potential financial exposure of claim. Post accurate and timely claim payments in database. Process payments and ensure financial integrity if each claim that is assigned
Assist Claims Representatives II's and Sr. Claims Analysts in their administration of higher severity claims, as needed
Provide clear, timely verbal and/or composed written communication to all relevant parties
Negotiate and resolve claims in a fair and equitable manner, within designated authority level, in compliance with company’s settlement practices, policies and procedures and conferring with management for any recommended settlement outside authority level

Required

High School Diploma or GED required
3+ years of prior relevant experience in a customer service, security, or investigation role required

Preferred

1+ years of prior relevant experience in Claims Adjusting or Legal setting preferred
