Postdoctoral Research Associate (Quantum Sensing)
Morgan State University is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Quantum Sensing to work on experimental projects within the Department of Physics. The role involves preparing samples, data collection, analysis, manuscript preparation, and mentoring students.

Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university is required
A minimum of 3 years of experimental research experience is required
Demonstrated skills in data collection and analysis with a keen attention to detail
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems independently
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within a diverse team environment
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following with demonstrated results are required: Optics and optical setup development
Python coding, especially for device control and data collection
Candidates must be experienced in academic writing with a publication record
Clear and concise oral and written communication skills are required
Electronic circuit design and troubleshooting, firmware, FPGA, and high-speed electronics
RF electronics
Preferred
A PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering or a relevant field from an accredited college or university is desired
Engineers with a MS or undergraduate degree with demonstrated experience will be also considered
