Responsibilities

Implement and monitor production inspection plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing, assembly & test, engineering procedures and first article inspection plans
Review new contracts for quality compliance during the proposal phase
Perform varied technical tasks which are non‑routine such as product improvement studies or process improvement studies
Assist in the administration of training certifications for site personnel and in the training and assessment of functional groups in the areas of quality requirements and other Quality related subjects
Provide technical assistance to Manufacturing, A & T, Vendors, Customers, and other Engineering disciplines in the resolution of fabrication, and field related problems
Support Failure analysis by utilizing your organizational, technical knowledge, analytical and communication skills to find the root cause and implement closed loop corrective action

Required

Bachelor's degree in an engineering/ analytical/ scientific field is required and 0-4 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, assembly & test, or quality related field or an associate degree in engineering or equivalent STEM and five years technical experience in manufacturing, engineering, assembly & test, or quality related field
Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance

Preferred

Background in statistical methods to develop unique solutions to continuous improvement and process monitoring
Experience in reading engineering drawings or equivalent, using precision measuring equipment, and working with various quality standards
First Article Inspection (FAI) experience
Experience writing and tracking nonconformances and correct actions
Familiar with AS9100 specifications
