They are currently seeking a Purchasing Assistant who will provide critical support to the Purchasing Department by managing transactional activities, coordinating vendor communications, and assisting with material sourcing across all business lines.

Responsibilities
Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers in a timely and accurate manner
Source materials and supplies required for manufacturing as needed
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, billing, or quality
Communicate with vendors to obtain product and service details, including pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
Expedite special orders and manage urgent procurement needs
Investigate and resolve purchase order discrepancies promptly
Ensure defective inventory and returns are processed efficiently
Assist with special projects as assigned
Support compliance with ISO/IEC 80079-34 standards and company quality initiatives
Qualification
Required
All applicants must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Self-motivated and resourceful, with problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication skills for interacting with supervisors, colleagues, suppliers, and internal departments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is a plus
