They are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to assist in creating work orders for electrical distribution power lines, design service connections, and support engineers with various tasks to meet growing electrical demands.

Responsibilities
Performs detailed design work for equipment installation, station construction or facility projects
Provides instructions to field crews and answers questions concerning design issues
Surveys sites, recommends design needs or identifies problems and recommends the location of equipment
Helping design plans and determine requirements for the installation, maintenance, restoration and/or relocation of routine overhead and underground distribution as well as primary and secondary electrical services
Designing overhead and underground customer service connections
Learning how to analyze customer submitted applications to complete designs
Creating drawings for customer requirements and crew instructions
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate Engineering students will need to maintain a 2.5 GPA or above throughout the internship
Current Washington State driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility
Enrolled in an accredited certificate, 2-year or 4-year undergraduate program during their internship
Enrolled in an academic program with focus on Electrical Engineering or related field
Preferred
Ideal candidate will have completed their junior year in BSEE program at the start of the internship
Ideal candidate will have Electromagnetic Theory, Statics (equilibrium of rigid bodies), and intro to Power coursework
AutoCAD experience
Strong communication skills
