Responsibilities
Conduct detailed field verification to validate existing site conditions
Update and maintain as-built drawings based on on-site assessments
Create new detailed AutoCAD drawings for projects, upgrades, and modifications
Manage, organize, and maintain project documentation using SharePoint, ensuring version control and accessibility
Collaborate with Facilities, Business, and IT teams to gather requirements and align design outputs with project goals
Coordinate with Cognizant teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and high‑quality deliverables
Provide technical expertise, support, and guidance throughout project execution
Qualification
Required
Minimum 6+ years of experience as an AutoCAD Engineer or in a similar role
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software
Demonstrated experience in field verification and updating as-built documentation
Working knowledge of SharePoint for file and document management
High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high‑quality drawings
Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet set deadlines
Preferred
Knowledge of building systems such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP)
Experience with construction documentation, standards, and facility layouts
Understanding of project coordination, cross-team communication, and stakeholder management
