Research Technician IV

The Research Technician IV will assist the Principal Investigator in designing and conducting research experiments, operating analytical instruments, and overseeing the work of Research Technicians.

Responsibilities

Assist the Principal Investigator in designing and conducting research experiments; follow established research protocol to perform investigative procedures; operate analytical instruments
Record, compile and verify the accuracy of research data; perform calculations; prepare charts, graphs and summaries
Assist in training PhD and/or MD Fellows and new Research Technicians; oversee the work of Research Technicians as requested

Qualification

Research experienceAnalytical instrumentsData analysisStatistical analysisComputer proficiency

Required

Bachelor's Degree in related scientific field (i.e., microbiology, immunology, biology, etc.)
Minimum of five (5) years research experience in a laboratory research setting

Preferred

Extensive familiarity with computers and software applications
Experience analyzing data using spreadsheets and statistical analysis models
