Responsibilities
Develop and implement accounting processes and controls from scratch
Conduct SOX testing and ensure compliance
Lead financial reporting, revenue recognition, and inventory controls
Prepare and guide the team through journal entries and support documentation
Train and mentor team members on documentation and control procedures
Collaborate with external accountants and internal audit teams
Utilize ERP systems to generate reports and support financial operations
Drive change management and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in hands-on accounting roles
Strong understanding of journal entries, ERP systems, and internal controls
5–7+ years of experience in SEC reporting
Experience in both private and public accounting (Big 4 preferred)
Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and XBRL
Strong analytical and communication skills
Proficiency in ERP and financial reporting systems
Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
