Sr. Developer Advocate (US-Based)

AuthZed is a Series A company focused on fixing broken access control with innovative products. The Sr. Developer Advocate will collaborate on advocacy strategy, produce technical content, and engage with developer communities to foster adoption of their products.

Responsibilities

Major portions of our developer advocacy execution, translating high-level strategy into impactful, measurable programs
Our North American presence at industry conferences and meetups
Gathering product feedback from the open source community

Qualification

Developer relationsCommunity buildingOpen source projectsTechnical content creationProgramming experienceDatabase technologiesAI technologiesSocial media engagementPublic speaking

Required

3+ years in a developer relations, developer experience, or community role
2+ years experience in a programming role
A deep understanding of working with commercial open source projects
Experience working with developers and building community following on social media
Have helped teach developers by producing live streams, creating videos, and by speaking at meetups/conferences
Comfort wearing many hats, often context switching between them in the same workday
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting often during travel

Preferred

Familiarity with database technologies and relationships to their communities
Familiarity with AI technologies and relationships to their communities
