Quality Inspector Specialist (2nd shift) - Chelmsford, MA
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Inspector Specialist for their Missiles and Fire Control Quality Assurance team. The role involves ensuring that electromechanical components meet strict safety and performance standards through detailed inspections and collaboration with engineers to resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities
Performing detailed inspections of electromechanical parts using calibrated equipment
Documenting inspection results and reporting non‑conformances to the engineering team
Participating in root‑cause analysis and recommending corrective actions
Maintaining inspection records and ensuring traceability for all components
Supporting continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance product quality
Inspect components, housings, and finished assemblies of electromechanical products using low/high‑power microscopes, test equipment, and hand‑held inspection tools
Verify conformance to work instructions, industry standards, and engineering drawings
Enter inspection results accurately into QMS and MRP systems
Partner with engineering to report, detail, and resolve non‑conformances
Support continuous‑improvement initiatives within the quality‑assurance process
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. citizen
Ability to obtain a secret clearance
Company-sponsored interim secret clearance required to start
Performing detailed inspections of electromechanical parts using calibrated equipment
Documenting inspection results and reporting non-conformances to the engineering team
Participating in root-cause analysis and recommending corrective actions
Maintaining inspection records and ensuring traceability for all components
Supporting continuous-improvement initiatives to enhance product quality
