Responsibilities
Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed internally and by contractors/sub‑contractors
Ensure all work aligns with company specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements
Facilitate effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines in line with team goals and procedures
Ensure timely and accurate communication among team members and other company functions
Demonstrate strong technical capability along with solid communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
Plan and manage pipeline and subsea activities during early project phases
Provide pipeline engineering inputs across project stages
Serve as technical authority to ensure engineering assurance
Define fit‑for‑purpose pipeline solutions
Lead feasibility and concept‑select studies, including:
Pipeline routing
Hydraulic analyses
Onshore/offshore mechanical design
Material selection support
Cost estimating
Constructability reviews
Manage and supervise 3rd‑party contractors; review, improve, and approve FEED and detailed design documentation
Assess development risks, including HS&E considerations, and recommend mitigation plans
Plan and execute assurance processes at key development milestones
Support business planning and the Work Program & Budget activities
Drive standard solutions and new business development from identification to Basis for Design
Ensure deployment of new technologies and promote acceptance with project and asset leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience
Strong background in front‑end project delivery
Extensive experience in business and project planning
Deep experience collaborating with sub-surface disciplines
Strong knowledge of offshore facilities and global offshore project delivery practices, benchmarks, and lessons learned
Extensive understanding of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria
Ability to work under tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and shifting priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Fluent in English, particularly for technical and business communication
Preferred
Oil and gas industry experience preferred
