Responsibilities
Preparation of civil engineering designs
Evaluating geologic hazards, including landslides/rockfalls
Performing computer analyses using civil design software
Preparation of preliminary engineering reports, design reports or similar documents
Preparation of construction estimates, construction feasibility reviews, budget documents
Preparation of CAD drafting work for project designs
Performing activities in support of construction, such as reviewing submittals
Organizing and determining disposition of drawings and files for completed projects
Traveling to project sites in conjunction with project responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate Engineering students will need to maintain a 2.5 GPA or above throughout the internship
You must hold a current valid state issued driver's license from any US state to be verified prior to start date. Out of state license holders will be required to obtain a WA state license within 30 days of hire
Enrolled in an accredited certificate, 2-year or 4-year undergraduate program during their internship
Enrolled in an academic program with focus on Civil Engineering or related field
Preferred
Ideal candidate will have completed their junior year in BSEE program at the start of the internship
Ideal candidate will have Electromagnetic Theory, Statics (equilibrium of rigid bodies), and intro to Power coursework
AutoCAD experience
Strong communication skills
