Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a dynamic team of ~15 engineers, fostering growth and collaboration
Provide personal development for direct reports by conducting performance reviews, training, mentoring, and monitoring career development
Assign programs and projects to direct reports in a timely manner and monitor these tasks so they are completed within technical, cost, and schedule constraints
Champion continuous improvement in the design and development processes
Coordinate with design leadership to align project goals and share best practices across teams
Maintain key performance indicators and metrics
Provide expert technical guidance and support to your team
Select and equip your team with the best tools and technology to excel
Foster design reviews, validating adherence to internal standards

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
7+ years of technical experience, designing and developing circuit cards, electronic enclosures, or working with FPGAs
Proven track record managing and leading engineering teams to success
Self-motivated, with strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Proficient communication skills, both in writing technical documentation and in public speaking presentations
Ability to work onsite in Elma, NY (remote candidates will not be considered)
Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information
