The role involves engineering and design of tooling, overseeing assembly of new equipment, and training manufacturing facility crews.

Tooling and equipment engineering & design along with operational support including existing improvements and new product development
Oversee assembly of new equipment, support prototypes, and lead or assist in stage gate approach
Train and develop manufacturing facility crews and evaluate potential patent and benchmarking opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Design Engineering required and 3 years of experience preferably within a manufacturing or R&D environment or entry level Master's degree
Experience and ability to troubleshoot tooling (extrusion, roll form, stamping, injection mold)
Effective in the presentation and communication of technical material and have an in-depth mechanical background, with hands-on understanding of machining practices and equipment and operations design
Strong demonstrated CAD skills
Knowledge in machining operations for manufacturing
Excellent project management skills are desired
