United Medical Systems is a national leader in mobile medical services, currently seeking medical imaging professionals for a Full-Time MR Fusion Specialist position. The role involves supporting Urologists during MR Fusion Prostate Biopsy procedures and overseeing the logistical and clinical needs for their assigned region.

Responsibilities

Communicating with Urology offices to confirm upcoming schedule
Obtaining MRI Mappings from the Radiology teams (can be accomplished remotely through the Cloud)
Traveling to facilities to deliver the equipment prior to day of procedures
Providing technical and clinical support to the Urologists during the procedures

Required

2 Year Degree
Experience as a Radiologic Technologist, MRI/CT Tech, or Ultrasound Tech
Ability to communicate with Urology offices to confirm upcoming schedule
Ability to obtain MRI Mappings from the Radiology teams
Ability to travel to facilities to deliver the equipment prior to day of procedures
Ability to provide technical and clinical support to the Urologists during the procedures
Willingness to work independently and oversee logistical and clinical needs
Ability to assist the Urologist in fusing the MRI Mapping to the live Ultrasound capture
Ability to navigate in a 3D environment with the Fusion device
Willingness to undergo extensive training for operating the fusion device and ultrasound
Ability to handle some overnight travel for certain facilities
