The VP/Director will lead internal sales and client service teams, driving firm-wide sales initiatives and team development while ensuring client engagement and retention.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement internal sales team strategy, including engagement campaigns, lead generation, and performance metrics with a focus on scaled engagement, client satisfaction and retention
Align sales goals with firm-wide strategic objectives, working closely with senior leadership, product, and investment teams
Lead regular sales reviews and performance reporting to drive accountability and results
Champion a consultative sales culture and coach team members on best practices and technical fluency
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Implement training and onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring rapid ramp-up and team integration
Oversee the client onboarding experience, partnering with operations, sales and service teams to ensure seamless transitions from prospect to client
Manage development, tracking, and updates of 201-401 level marketing and sales collateral
Collaborate with marketing, compliance, and investment teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of materials
Provide feedback loops from client-facing teams to inform product innovation and communication strategies, including designing and implementing CRM
Qualification
Required
7-10+ years of experience in asset management or financial services sales, with leadership experience strongly preferred
Proven track record of managing internal sales or service teams and driving sales results
Deep understanding of asset management products; options or derivative overlay experience is a plus
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
Experience managing CRM systems and sales enablement platforms
BA/BS degree required
Preferred
NASD Series 24, Series 7 and 66 preferred
