Responsibilities

Operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment
Respond to unplanned maintenance requests
Read, analyze and interpret technical documents such as; blueprints, electrical, and diagrams to diagnose and repair electrical issues
Basic (or better) understanding of PLC systems
Test and repair pneumatic assemblies
Understand and analyze the technical specifications of mechatronic systems, subsystems, modules and components
Perform scheduled, predictive, and preventive maintenance to detect and prevent problems
Use troubleshooting skills to identify and prevent possible problems and failures, and to systematically and intelligently make repairs
Incorporate relevant technical literature into the understanding of system operation and coordinate efforts with other technicians involved in installing or maintaining equipment or components
Install, repair, adjust, and test equipment and components to ensure that systems function properly
Communicate with machine operators, and operate equipment to detect equipment problems, analyze malfunctions, and verify system problems
Observe and incorporate safety standards and regulations required for safe operation of the system

Required

High school diploma or equivalency certificate
4+ years working experience with installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining electro-mechanical systems and devices
With or without reasonable accommodations, must be willing and able to work with powered lift equipment – for example forklift or scissor lifts
Valid Driver's license and able to satisfy Amazon driver eligibility criteria
With or without reasonable accommodations, must be able to lift up to 49 pounds on some occasions, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours (with breaks), and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

Preferred

Ability to Operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents such as; blueprints, electrical, and diagrams to diagnose and repair electrical issues
Basic (or better) understanding of PLC systems
Ability to Test and repair pneumatic assemblies
Understands the technical specifications of mechatronic systems, subsystems, modules and components
Experience performing scheduled, predictive, and preventive maintenance on Electro-mechanical systems and devices
Experience with troubleshooting systems to identify and prevent possible problems and failures
Experience installing, repairing, adjusting, and testing electro-mechanical equipment and components to ensure that systems function properly
Familiar with Lock out Tag Out(LOTO) devices and processes
