Responsibilities
Lead production application issues to resolution, assessing root causes, developing interim workarounds, and ensuring comprehensive documentation for build teams
Collaborate with mid- to senior-level management, attorneys, developers, architects, vendors, and end users to align solutions with business and client needs
Translate user-reported problems and requests into clear functional and technical requirements, grounded in trends identified from production incidents
Support product delivery efforts using Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle, coordinating across Custom Application Development and Packaged Solutions teams
Develop and execute test plans derived from functional requirements, evaluate results, and track issues through firm-approved tools and processes
Contribute to release planning, validation, and change activities across multiple environments to ensure stable, high-quality deployments
Balance scope, schedule, cost, and quality when recommending solutions, aligned with business goals, firm policies, and technical constraints
Identify and implement process and technical improvements through independent analysis, delivering measurable outcomes with minimal supervision
Lead by example in a dynamic environment, mentoring and motivating team members while effectively escalating risks or conflicts when needed
Advocate for improved user experiences that support business objectives across all initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT experience in business analysis, product management, process design, or related disciplines, within an iterative, phased technology environment
Strong background in Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with experience planning and leading product implementations or upgrades
Advanced verbal and written communication abilities, including technical writing, active listening, and the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences
Proven success working with demanding stakeholders who expect high quality and fast turnaround in professional services or similar environments
Hands-on experience partnering with developers, architects, and external vendors to deliver effective solutions
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, workflow and project management tools, and platforms such as Microsoft Azure DevOps (formerly Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) / Team Foundation Server (TFS)), JIRA, and test management tools
Preferred
Familiarity with legal or private fund formation environments, along with experience in change or release management
