Purchasing Project Lead
JCB North America is the world’s largest privately-owned manufacturer of construction and agricultural equipment. The Purchasing Project Lead is responsible for coordinating and supporting all Purchasing activity in relation to New Product Introduction Program activity and localization projects.

Responsibilities
Ensure that Purchasing support the introduction of new machines in a consistent manner across the Group that facilitates the execution of appropriate category strategies
Ensure that production supplier launch activities, while mitigating potential risk, are aligned to the business, transparent and consistently measured across the group
Ensure that any risk to project builds from a supply of components perspective are clearly articulated to relevant stakeholders, risk registers are transparent, and mitigation plans are effectively communicated
Ensuring cross functional alignment with the NPIP and Operations teams with regards to the effective launch of new machines
Shares best practice and lessons learned with peers to support others with objectives whilst driving personal development plan
Qualification
Required
Proven change and project management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office software
Comfortable in an in-person office environment
Technical competence is a plus
Must be customer service oriented, flexible, and have a high energy level
Must have excellent follow-through skills

Must be open to domestic and international travel
