Senior Project Controls Specialist
Augment Professional Services (APS) is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to lead day-to-day project controls activities for engineering, procurement, and construction projects. This role involves developing and maintaining cost, schedule, forecasting, and reporting systems to ensure projects are delivered within budget and schedule.

Responsibilities
Lead project controls processes with internal and client project management teams
Ensure proper project setup in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software
Analyze data, review logs, and run reports using enterprise planning tools
Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
Develop, implement, and maintain schedules, cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts
Follow project execution plans and support EPC planning and logistics
Serve as a point of contact for technical project controls questions
Approve purchase orders and subcontracts for proper cost coding
Input and document changes to cost reports and forecasts
Interface with project management and accounting teams to review costs, contingencies, and support audits
Review upstream (prime contract) and downstream (purchase order and subcontract) change orders
Develop and present cash flow reports
Apply and review logic ties within schedules
Monitor and support resource-loaded schedules
Support Interactive Project Planning Meetings (IPPM)
Create schedule reports and determine appropriate reporting formats
Develop and analyze scheduling reports and backup documentation
Consult with project teams on schedule progress
Perform schedule what-if scenarios
Develop and maintain earned value management systems
Input and validate progress measurement data
Develop and maintain progress curves
Perform material takeoffs
Perform quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables
Perform field audits to validate reporting accuracy
Assist with project forensic analysis
Comply with all APS policies, safety standards, and client requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
