Senior HR Advisor
PeaceHealth is seeking a Senior HR Advisor for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The Sr HR Advisor acts as a subject matter expert to interpret and apply state and federal laws and PeaceHealth policies, while supporting caregivers and leaders in resolving HR inquiries and managing employee relations matters.

Responsibilities
Consults with HR Manager and HR Consultants regarding inquiries on a variety of employment issues including performance management, policy interpretation and administration, HR processes, compensation, benefits, payroll, and employee and labor relations
Case manages initial and escalated AskHR inquiries via telephone and electronic means, interfacing with internal and external resources to furnish or obtain needed information. Researches issues, gathers support information, solicits input from necessary knowledge experts and provides quality resolution within the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Oversees HR Service Center department staffing schedule and balance of workload. Responsible for maintaining standard workflows and processes that maximize performance and outcomes
Handles more complex and/or sensitive inquiries, including supporting tier 1 employee relations investigations
Submits action and update requests to ensure data accuracy and to maintain a high level of data integrity in the HR system
Collaborates and partners with HR Consultants, stakeholders and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to resolve specific issues requiring focused resolution
Educates caregivers on self-service tools and technology. Refers caregivers to PeaceHealth’s or other vendors (i.e. benefits, leave of absence, retirement etc.) as appropriate
Compiles and reports on HR-related metrics. Working with leaders and HR stakeholders, monitors, enters, analyzes, and communicates data relating to missing and expired credentials, offboarding, corrective actions, and other purposes
Provides mentoring and training for team members. Provides feedback on staff performance and assists with goal setting for the team
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required: Human Resources or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training and experience
Minimum of 3 years required: Human Resources experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
Knowledge of regulatory compliance, federal and state laws with a working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines
Ability to analyze information gathered by investigation, and concisely report findings and recommendations
Ability to prioritize responsibilities and to organize workload to ensure that timeframes are met, and the work is successfully completed within deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Data entry and analytical skills
Proficient in the use of MS Office application
Preferred
Certified Professional Human Resources
Proficient in the use of a major HRIS solution and case management system
