Responsibilities

Develop Design Flow Software: Create and enhance software tools for IP design automation workflows
Script Development & Maintenance: Write robust, maintainable scripts using Perl, Python, and Makefiles to streamline design processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, methodology teams, and verification groups to deliver integrated solutions
Linux Environment Development: Leverage Linux-based tools and environments to build efficient automation systems
AI-Powered Automation: Explore and implement advanced technologies including AI Agents and Skills to automate complex multi-platform workflows
Documentation & Testing: Document your work clearly and ensure code quality through testing and peer reviews

Required

Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
Proficiency in scripting languages: Strong experience with Python and/or Perl
Build system knowledge: Hands-on experience with Makefiles and build automation
Frontend development skills: Familiarity with JavaScript and modern web technologies
Problem-solving mindset: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges with creative solutions
Team collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional team environments
Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Preferred

Experience with Linux/Unix command-line tools and shell scripting
Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN)
Knowledge of EDA tools or semiconductor design flows
Interest in AI/ML applications for design automation
Previous internship or project experience in software development
