Creative Marketing Director
Breakaway is a ministry focused on reaching college students with the Gospel, and they are seeking a Creative Marketing Director to serve as their chief storyteller and strategic communicator. This role involves leading creative and communication strategies, overseeing social media efforts, and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of all creative outputs in service of the ministry's mission.

Responsibilities
Setting and executing Breakaway’s creative and communication strategy across platforms
Visioning and leading creative campaigns from idea to execution
Telling stories that inform, inspire, and mobilize students and donors
Guarding and stewarding the Breakaway brand with clarity and excellence
Overseeing all social media efforts, including launch campaigns, humorous content, and student engagement
Providing quality control across all creative outputs
Evaluating success and refining systems so creative work can scale sustainably
Lead a team of student volunteers and contract creatives (video, photo, design, social, merch, marketing)
Likely oversee a part-time Resident, and help shape the future structure of the creative team
Delegate wisely, build repeatable workflows, and bring clarity to creative processes
Collaborate closely with the Executive Director on vision, priorities, and cultural goals
Build a creative culture that is spiritually grounded, relationally healthy, and joyfully excellent
Qualification
Required
Has meaningful experience in ministry-based creative work and is ready for greater scope
Thinks strategically but still enjoys hands-on creative contribution
Can propose ideas, fill gaps, and translate vision into executable plans
Loves developing people and creating environments where creatives flourish
Cares deeply about prayer, the spiritual formation of college students, and preparing for a move of God
Is organized, accountable, and able to lead without burning people out
Preferred
Already love A&M, or are willing to drink the maroon Kool-Aid
Have helped build or scale creative systems in a ministry context
Experiment with branding, creative workflows, and AI tools
