Responsibilities
Lead the development of detailed and highly complex 2D and 3D CAD/BIM models, preparing construction documents, technical drawings, and digital representations that meet all project requirements
Oversee multi-disciplinary coordination within CAD/BIM environments, integrating architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other models into a unified and cohesive project design
Set, enforce, and monitor CAD/BIM standards and best practices across all design stages, ensuring quality control and adherence to project specifications
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate designers, assisting with technical challenges, training on best practices, and ensuring consistent quality
Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements, resolve design issues, and make necessary adjustments to models and documentation
Conduct advanced quality control reviews on CAD/BIM deliverables, verifying accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards, regulatory codes, and project specifications
Develop and implement workflows that enhance efficiency and ensure seamless integration of CAD/BIM processes across large-scale projects
Troubleshoot and resolve complex design and software issues, assisting with problem-solving across the design team
Prepare high-quality presentations, visualizations, and 3D renderings for client and stakeholder meetings, ensuring that design intent and technical details are effectively communicated
Stay updated on advancements in CAD/BIM technologies, processes, and industry standards, implementing new tools and techniques to improve design quality and operational efficiency
Perform all other duties as assigned
Work collaboratively and effectively with clients and colleagues including cross-functional teams, peers, direct reports, and leadership, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
Adapt to changing business needs and priorities, demonstrating flexibility in taking on new responsibilities and adjusting to evolving challenges
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Architecture
6-15 years of experience in CAD/BIM design, with significant experience on complex, multi-disciplinary projects
Preferred
Advanced certification in AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM software
Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within CAD/BIM design teams
