Responsibilities
File, log, and research all freight claims, as well as process claim checks
Review carrier exception reports for potential claim resolution
Compile the daily numbers as it pertains to claims and shipments
Compile and post the charts for the SQDC board
Identify root cause and counter measures for freight claim issues
Document preparation as required
Log and maintain STERIS Delivery issues, as well as assist in identifying root cause and countermeasures
Categorize Monthly Delivery issue survey results
Obtain Proof of Deliveries at the end of STERIS’ quarter as needed
Manage the daily zero freight, field scrap & trade in’s reports
Review & Research Closed RMA Report
Aid with other department duties as required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as, have competent typing capabilities
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively and tactfully interact with customers and others at all levels of the organization and at outside agencies
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
