This role requires bridging business strategy and technical execution, articulating solutions to both technical teams and senior business leaders, and driving scalable architecture across enterprise applications.

Responsibilities
Translate business strategy and enterprise architecture vision into practical, implementable solutions
Drive application and solution architecture aligned with Cotiviti’s architectural roadmap
Evaluate new technologies and tools for inclusion in current and future roadmaps
Define and maintain technology standards for assigned applications
Guide architectural decisions during PI / incremental planning
Participate in enterprise architecture governance and communities of practice
Lead architecture and design efforts across one or more development teams
Mentor engineers across varying experience levels
Identify, surface, and resolve architectural risks collaboratively
Ensure successful architecture implementation across teams
Act as a technical role model and trusted advisor
Support greenfield development and modernization of legacy systems
Guide teams through refactoring and re-architecture initiatives
Promote CI/CD, Agile, and best engineering practices
Balance long-term architecture goals with near-term delivery needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
8+ years of experience in application, solution, or data architecture
1+ year directly leading architecture and software design for development teams
Hands-on experience modernizing legacy systems and building new platforms
Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments
Strong experience with CI/CD practices
Experience using open-source technologies in enterprise environments
Knowledge of microservices, containerization, and virtualization
Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture
Proven ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
Preferred
Strong academic background preferred (Master's degree and/or top-tier institutions a plus)
