Responsibilities
Examine and analyze title searches, commitments, and supporting documentation
Identify title defects, liens, encumbrances, and other issues affecting property title
Coordinate with lenders, escrow officers, attorneys, and clients to clear title requirements
Prepare and issue title commitments, endorsements, and final title policies
Ensure compliance with Washington State title insurance regulations and company underwriting guidelines
Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners
Keep accurate records and meet production deadlines
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of Washington State real estate and title laws
Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions, plats, easements, and recorded documents
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Prior experience as a Title Officer, Title Examiner, or similar role preferred
Experience with title software and county recording systems preferred
