New GradFranklin International is currently looking for an Engineering Intern. The intern will assist engineering staff in applying established chemical engineering principles and problem solving practices, assisting with the optimization of existing processes and the introduction of new products and processes into the manufacturing environment.
Manufacturing
Responsibilities
Generate, update, and or optimize procedures for new and established processes
Scale formulations and products to new equipment
Collect and share production data
Develop rework plans for non-conforming product
Support modifications and re-loading of WIP and Packaging batch sheets
Qualification
Required
Current student majoring in Chemical Engineering or other relevant engineering field
Preferably a junior or senior this fall
Co-op or internship experience
Completed Major's introductory courses
Completed Organic Chemistry I (or higher)
3.2 GPA or higher
Familiarity with applicable computer software (MS Excel, MS Word)
Preferred
3.6 GPA or higher
