Responsibilities
Lead a group of strong self-driven engineers transitioning to becoming an AI native organization
Drive results, anticipate bottlenecks and make quick trade-offs to keep the team unblocked
Manage engineers across multiple disciplines in an Agile environment
Develop enterprise software with strong mechanisms for rigorous execution in planning, designing, developing and delivering
Communicate with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements and describe software product features
Recruit, hire, mentor, and manage teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and effectiveness
Qualification
Required
5+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
7+ years of engineering experience
3+ years of engineering team management experience
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Strong mechanisms for rigorous execution in planning, designing, developing and delivering enterprise software
Experience managing engineers across multiple disciplines in an Agile environment
Knowledge of personalization systems, recommendation engines, or dynamic content generation
AWS service launch / production operational experience desired
Preferred
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
Experience in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between
