Responsibilities
Lead and manage billing-related projects from initiation to completion
Develop project plans, timelines, and objectives
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Evaluate existing billing processes and identify areas for improvement
Conduct data analysis to identify billing discrepancies and resolve them
Implement process enhancements to optimize billing operations
Manage all aspects of the provider enrollment and credentialing process, including initial applications, re-credentialing, and maintaining provider information in all necessary systems
Accurately complete payor enrollment requests in a timely manner
Follow-up on enrollments in-process (online, telephone, email) and maintain enrollment records through timely documentation
Ensure billing practices comply with relevant industry regulations and standards
Perform audits and quality checks on billing data and documents
Address compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
Maintain accurate records of billing-related projects and activities
Prepare reports and presentations on project status and outcomes
Communicate project updates and findings to management and stakeholders
Provide training and support to billing staff on new processes and systems
Offer guidance and assistance to resolve billing-related inquiries and issues
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in billing
Collaborate with finance, accounting, and other departments to achieve project goals
Foster effective communication and teamwork among cross-functional teams

Qualification
Required
Proven experience in billing, revenue cycle management, or project management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of billing software and systems (e.g., billing software, ERP systems)
Understanding of healthcare billing regulations (if applicable to the industry)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
Preferred
Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
