IT Help Desk Technician
Fabrication Enterprises Inc is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Help Desk Technician to join their team. The role involves being the first point of contact for technical issues and maintaining hardware, managing user identities, and ensuring endpoint security.

Responsibilities
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops (Windows-based), printers, and docking stations in both office and warehouse environments
Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions using Microsoft Active Directory/Entra
Execute OS imaging and software deployment tasks using Microsoft Intune
Provide expert-level support for the Microsoft Office 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
Diagnose basic connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and VPN configurations, maintain server racks and network patch panels
Monitor endpoint health via Microsoft Defender and ensure all devices meet company cybersecurity standards
Maintain an accurate inventory of assets and document resolution steps in our ticketing system
Provide basic support for FEI specific applications including but not limited to user maintenance, basic application troubleshooting and basic application management
Qualification
Required
Proactive and detail-oriented IT Help Desk Technician
First point of contact for technical issues
Responsible for maintaining hardware fleet
Managing user identities via Microsoft Entra
Ensuring endpoint security remains robust
Hands-on approach to hardware
Strong grasp of the modern Microsoft 365 ecosystem
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops (Windows-based), printers, and docking stations in both office and warehouse environments

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11
Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), and Intune
Proven experience imaging and deploying Windows devices in a corporate environment
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP basics
Familiarity with basic security principles (MFA, phishing awareness, and antivirus management)
Preferred
CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
1–3 years of experience in a formal IT support or Help Desk role
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff with patience and clarity
