Responsibilities
Lead and develop the accounting department, including hiring and training staff
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close on an accrual basis (GAAP)
Prepare consolidated financial statements and analyze business performance
Manage cash flow forecasting and weekly reporting functions
Maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
Supervise third-party vendors and financial partners
Oversee sales tax, property tax, workers’ compensation, and external audits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Restaurant industry controller experience required
10+ years of progressive accounting leadership
Strong GAAP and multi-unit financial reporting background
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Proven success in leading and developing accounting teams
