The Graduate Fellow will serve as a student-facing representative, engaging with HBCU students to strengthen connections and provide insights for program design and engagement strategies while gaining professional experience across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

Serve as a visible PROPEL ambassador to students across partner campuses

Engage students via email, the PROPEL U platform, live virtual sessions, and in-person activities

Support student participation during live sessions, workshops, and events

Respond to basic student inquiries and route students to appropriate PROPEL resources

Encourage awareness of and participation in PROPEL programs and experiences

Capture informal student feedback and surface engagement trends

Provide HBCU student point of view on PROPEL messaging, programming, and outreach

Share recommendations to improve student engagement, communication, and experience

Support PROPEL teams with insights into student needs, preferences, and behaviors

Provides assistance to CEO in preparation for and on site during external engagements and presentations

Prepare reports, presentations (PowerPoint), agendas, takes meeting minutes, and organize files

Gather data, conduct research, assist with project coordination, and support strategic planning

Assist with additional duties as assigned

Participate in scheduled live sessions, events, and student-facing activities

Recent college graduate or graduate student
