Director/ExecutiveThe Inland Press is a growing, operations-driven company with approximately 60 employees, seeking a Director of Business Systems to take full operational ownership of their business software ecosystem. This hands-on role involves administering core systems, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with senior operations leadership to shape decisions around technology investments and integrations.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary owner and administrator for core systems (ERP, CRM, shipping, and related tools)
Troubleshoot system, data, and workflow issues across departments
Extend and maintain existing logic and templates (for example, Velocity and XPath)
Write small, practical scripts (Python preferred) to support data validation, reporting, and integration
Modify and create business reports, including custom reports in i-net Clear Reports
Manage vendors and contractors, translating business needs into effective technical solutions
Document systems, workflows, and dependencies
Provide clear, practical technical input to leadership on system-related decisions and tradeoffs
Qualification
Required
Experience owning and administering complex business systems in a production environment
Strong troubleshooting instincts and comfort working directly in live systems
Strong data intuition, with the ability to use tools like Excel as needed to support users, analysis, and decision-making
Experience reading, modifying, and extending existing logic or templates (Velocity, XPath, SQL, or similar)
Ability to write small, practical scripts
Experience adjusting or creating business reports, with familiarity with i-net Clear Reports considered a strong plus
Ability to explain technical logic and tradeoffs clearly in plain business terms
