Responsibilities
Drive the Month-End Close: Take the lead on the month-end NAV process for our main fund and managed accounts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
Reconcile and understand complex instruments including equities, bonds, derivatives (swaps, options, futures), and FX
Maintain an accurate, independent shadow book of records, reconciling all trade and non-trade related activities from Prime Brokers, Custodial Banks, and Repo/ISDA counterparties
Reconcile administrator books, research and resolve discrepancies in cash, positions, trading, income P&L, pricing, corporate actions, and dividends
Actively identify, analyze, and eliminate the root causes of reconciliation breaks to enhance existing processes and systems
Work closely with internal teams to assist with regulatory filings, including Form PF, AIFMD, Annex IV, and 13F
Assist in the timely completion of the yearly audit, ensuring the validity of financial statements and distribution to investors
Qualification
Required
3–7+ years of experience in fund accounting, specifically within a hedge fund, private equity firm, or a top-tier hedge fund administrator
Deep understanding of hedge fund back-office operations, GAAP, and complex instrument valuation (derivatives/fixed income)
A self-starter who thrives in a lean, fast-paced environment and is not just looking to 'do a job and head home'
Proven ability to improve workflows, automate tasks, and enhance efficiency
Proficiency in Portfolio Accounting Systems (e.g., Geneva, Investran, WSO) and advanced Excel skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred
CPA or CFA is a plus
