Client Operations Analyst - Non Exempt

Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal and external Clients to resolve trade discrepancies in a timely manner
Communicate issues to Clients
Compare trades with external counterparties
Responds to external and internal client inquiries, escalating issues to management
Approves client trade corrections, inputs, or cancellations
Reconciliation of suspense accounts
Responsible for the quality and completion of own work
Primary point of contact for clients and executes all requests in a timely and accurate manner
Post-Trade Operations: Compare and reconcile trades with external counterparties; investigate and resolve trade, money, and position breaks
Client Support & Communication: Act as primary client contact; respond to internal and external inquiries via email, phone, video, and desk visits; escalate issues as needed
Trade Corrections & Controls: Approve trade corrections, inputs, and cancellations; manage suspense account reconciliations
Risk & Quality Management: Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work in a high-risk, high-volume environment
Collaboration & Process Improvement: Partner with clients and internal teams to improve trade flows, support platform enhancements, and drive automation where possible
Qualification
Required
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
Proficient Microsoft skills
Experience working with trade comparison, reconciliation, and post-execution processes
Ability to work rotating schedules between 8:00am–6:00pm ET
Preferred
Brokerage, clearing, or custodian experience (e.g., brokerage business, clearing custodian, or similar environments)
Settlement experience across fixed income products
Financial Services or Operations background
Automation exposure
Client Series 7 and/or 99
