Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end Infrastructure Delivery for the largest cloud network on the planet
Drive the strategy to innovate and optimize new deployments while instilling the highest level of operational excellence in tools and processes
Ensure the right resources/structure is in place to proactively stay ahead of capacity demands while applying thinking around capital efficiency
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on new solutions and designs
Own all aspects of people management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience
5+ years of management/team lead function experience
5+ years of networking (such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP) experience
Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment
Preferred
4+ years of data center engineering experience
Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers
Experience analyzing metrics to drive business improvements
Experience representing your team or technical area to senior management
Experience contributing to the definition and implementation of automation opportunities within an operations environment
Experience in one or more IT infrastructure domains (storage, compute, networking, security, software development, systems administration, database engineering or administration, machine learning, cloud infrastructure, big data, DevOps, or other IT infrastructure domain)
Experience with lean methodologies and Six-Sigma or similar qualification as well as organizational and planning skills
