Responsibilities
Organization of documents to include filing
Interact with others effectively to obtain information
Prepare documents for tax preparation
Communicate and report accounting matters to others effectively
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts and verify accuracy of all General Ledger balances
Determine proper procedures for transaction posting
Transmit electronic payments and be the contact person with financial institutions to include banks, credit card companies etc
Monitor accounting accuracy for the entire organization
Oversee all payroll functions
Oversee reporting for 401k and Worker’s Compensation
Assist Human Resources with payroll matters
Process bills and expense reports
Create invoices for customers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
5 or more years Accounting Experience
Thorough interest and grasp of all accounting principles, especially general ledger function and purpose
Understanding of budgets
Understand tax implications and communicate to management for decision making
Understanding of job tracking, class tracking and their relevance to budgeting
Ability to use mathematical solutions to answer questions relevant to accounting matters
Proven ability to be courteous, flexible and understanding
Ability to self-manage and prioritize skills
Attention to detail a must
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Preferred
NetSuite experience a plus
