Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day activities of the team’s Regional Directors and Senior Associates
Prepare presentation materials to be used in meetings with institutional clients and prospects. Examples of deliverables include introductory presentations, portfolio reviews and follow-up materials
Compile performance data, portfolio commentary and analytical material in preparation for meetings or in response to client inquiries
Provide quality control for the data included in client reports and requests
Facilitate the completion of due diligence requests and client questionnaires
Help maintain CRM database
Build marketing lists for institutional luncheons, investment forums and conferences
Review and edit RFPs
Communicate daily with internal groups, including operations, portfolio management, research, legal, compliance and marketing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Background or strong interest in the Financial Services Industry
Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, team-player
Able to work equally well in a team environment and independently
Self-starter who is capable of completing multiple projects within set deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills (Excel and Word) with the ability to learn programs as needed
Solid quantitative problem-solving skills
SIE, Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses (or attainment within the first 8 weeks of hire as a condition of employment)
Preferred
1+ years of work experience in Financial Services or similar field preferred
Asset Management experience a plus
