Responsibilities
Prepare inks, substrates, plates, cylinders, gears, etc. for scheduled job
Assist Press Operator in monitoring the product to ensure quality
Knowledge and ability to perform make-readies
Participate in the operation of the press with the ability to operate if needed
Order, Charge, and Return raw materials to each job as needed
Complete necessary daily paperwork
Complete 5S/housekeeping logs
Follow and be held accountable for adherence to all of the company policies and procedures as they are outlined and defined
Remove and identify all scrap except flying splices before master rolls get moved to WIP area
All other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor and/or Management
Qualification
Required
Ability read, understand, and follow customer specifications
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
Forklift experience preferred
Must have basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software
Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors
Lift up to 50 lbs
Stand for long periods (steel-toed shoes required)
Perform climbing, crouching, and reaching
