Sr Advanced Systems Engineer

Responsibilities
Own system-level requirements, ensure compliance through traceability
Own system integration and verification at the product or system level
Support both internal and customer facing technical review
Lead risk management activities and failure effects analysis (FMEA)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards and operational efficiency
Identify and execute cost, schedule, and technical efficiency improvements
Travel within U.S. and/or Internationally: 10%
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
At least 6 years of Systems Engineering experience
Proven experience in datalink communications systems
Preferred
Deep knowledge and experience with ARINC 664, CPDLC or FANS datalink communication systems
Experience with Aerospace, Airsim, Multisim, MATLAB, Teamcenter, DOORS, JIRA
Working knowledge of industry standard communication protocols (ARINC, MIL-STD-1553, CAN)
Lab experience testing and verifying requirements of systems and software
Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done
Ability to adapt dictated by project changes
Multi-tasking and the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks
Diverse thoughts and ideas; and experience teaming and collaboration with global Engineers
An understanding of data and networking structures, protocols and apply analytical problem-solving methods
