HR & Recruitment Coordinator
Evolve Transporters is a high-end custom fabrication company based in Painesville, OH, and they are seeking an HR & Recruitment Coordinator to lead recruiting efforts for their Indiana and Ohio locations. This role focuses on recruitment while also assisting with broader HR initiatives and administrative functions as time allows.

Responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and timelines
Update and draft job descriptions, accurately reflecting the roles and ongoing changes
Own the full recruitment lifecycle: posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and managing offers
Proactively source candidates through online platforms, social media, referrals, and local networks
Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure timely communication with candidates
Coordinate pre-employment checks, onboarding schedules, and first-day setup
Monitor recruiting metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvements
Represent the company at local job fairs or recruitment events as needed
Assist in onboarding documentation, benefits administration, and compliance recordkeeping
Support employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and internal communications
Assist with HR projects such as policy rollouts, employee surveys, and training logistics
Help maintain accurate employee records and assist with audits as needed
Foster and support positive work environment for all employees
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with technology and HR systems
Self-motivated and capable of working independently while staying aligned with the HR Director
Passion for people, process improvement, and creating a great candidate experience
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and stoop in office settings
Occasionally attend off-site recruitment events or meetings
Preferred
1 – 3 years of recruitment or HR experience
Bachelor's degree in Human resources, Business Admin, or related field
Experience in manufacturing or skilled trades recruitment
