Responsibilities
Implement project management processes, policies, and best practices
Develop scopes of work and negotiate project fees
Plan project tasks and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver on time and within budget
Manage project scope, identify additional services, and coordinate with clients for fee updates
Ensure client satisfaction by meeting or exceeding expectations
Oversee invoicing and support collection efforts when needed
Serve as Engineer of Record when required
Develop engineering solutions that meet safety, scope, and client needs
Execute quality control procedures to ensure high-quality deliverables
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and former clients
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach
Participate in industry organizations and contribute to technical content as needed
Lead or support business development pursuits, including strategy development, technical writing, presentations, and interviews
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of AASHTO, FDOT, and Municipal (Green Book) design criteria, standards, and plan preparation requirements
Expertise in horizontal and vertical alignment, drainage, maintenance of traffic, signing and pavement markings, and coordination with multiple disciplines (Signalization, Lighting, Utilities, Structures, ITS, Tolling)
Deep understanding of the full project development process
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to plan, manage, and deliver assignments across various project delivery methods

Typically 20+ years of relevant highway engineering and project management experience
Proven experience managing large, complex, multidisciplinary transportation projects
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
