Responsibilities
Operate multi-axis CNC machines within the facility/build parts
Operate other machines as required
Maintain machines as required
Check raw and prepare raw material
Build production and prototype parts to specifications
Calibrate test equipment as requested (per schedule)
Perform production machine preventative maintenance
Perform part quality testing (as required)
Maintain tooling in an organized fashion
Keep work areas clean and tidy
Document work as required by ISO and company standards
Other duties as requested by supervisor or upper management
Qualification
Required
High School Graduate
Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC turning experience required
Ability to read blueprints
Understand G&M codes
Knowledge of how to read measuring tools
Familiarity with multiple axis machining required
Attention to detail
Mechanical aptitude
Perform other duties as assigned
Dependability and ability to work well with others are essential
Ability to work onsite Muskegon, MI
Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen
United States Citizenship required by contract
Preferred
Experience with ISO:9001 and AS-9100 quality standards a plus
Basic knowledge of GDT
