Responsibilities
Accountant will own the full cycle billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance for grants and financial data
Deliver timely, insightful financial reporting and strategic guidance to leadership
Lead client communications for billing, onboarding, and collections with professionalism and empathy
Drive process improvements, recommend internal controls, and support audits and accreditations
Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly billing metrics and grant reports to support decision-making
As an Accountant, you will contribute to annual budget preparation, forecasting, and long-term planning
Provide cross-training and support to team members, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
3-5 years of experience preferred (nonprofit or healthcare a plus)
Strong working knowledge of accounts receivable, billing, grant compliance, and GAAP
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, QuickBooks Online, and related accounting software
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Commitment to confidentiality, reliability, and making sound financial decisions
