Responsibilities

Provide support to the Economic Development Finance team
Work with commercial real estate finance, public finance, or economic development finance
Learn tax increment finance (TIF) law, tax abatement law, special assessment law, bond finance, and other methods of public-private finance
Possess strong project management skills and work with multiple attorneys on various assignments

Required

3+ years' experience as an attorney
Multi-year experience working with, and knowledge of, commercial real estate finance, public finance, or economic development finance

Excellent academic credentials
High ethical standards
Strong writing skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Strong project management skills
Ability to work with multiple attorneys on a variety of assignments

Preferred

Training in tax, economics, or corporations (such as an LLM or an MBA)
